Receipts, Invoicing & Billing Transparency Policy

Last Updated: 07/23/2025

At Life’s Abri’s, we believe in financial transparency while also maintaining the privacy of our internal vendor relationships and proprietary pricing models. This policy outlines what types of receipts and invoices travelers can expect, what we do and do not provide, and how insurance-related requests for itemized expenses are handled.

1. What We Provide: Package-Based Receipts

When you book a trip through Life’s Abri’s, you will receive:

  • A comprehensive invoice or receipt showing the total amount paid to Life’s Abri’s

  • A record of installment payments made toward your trip balance

These receipts reflect the total package price paid to Life’s Abri’s, not the individual amounts we pay to each third-party vendor. This is standard practice.

2. What We Do Not Provide: Internal Itemized Vendor Costs

We do not provide:

  • Internal vendor pricing or itemized cost breakdowns

  • Receipts or contracts between Life’s Abri’s and hotels, tour operators, or other service providers

  • Per-transaction vendor invoices unless required for insurance (see Section 4)

Our pricing includes operational costs, taxes, and fees. Therefore, vendor receipts do not reflect the full value of the services rendered to the client, nor are they structured for direct client use.

3. Legal Compliance & Industry Standards

Life’s Abri’s operates in full compliance with U.S. federal law regarding commercial invoicing and electronic records.

Specifically:

  • Under the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, businesses are required to provide proof of purchase and terms of service, not internal cost disclosures or vendor-level invoicing unless contractually obligated.

  • The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) and Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) also validate that digital receipts and agreements issued by Life’s Abri’s are legally binding and sufficient for consumer protection and recordkeeping.

No U.S. federal law requires travel agencies or coordination services to disclose private vendor pricing unless offering those services as a direct seller or re-seller of those products (which Life’s Abri’s is not).

4. Insurance Claims: Special Handling Protocol

If you are submitting a travel insurance claim and require itemized documentation to support reimbursement, Life’s Abri’s will provide vendor-level receipts directly to your insurance provider, subject to the following protocol:

  1. Submit a written request via email to hello@lifesabris.com

  2. Include:

    • Your insurance provider’s contact email

    • The claim number or case reference ID

    • Specific instructions provided by your insurance company

  3. Allow 7–10 business days for processing

  4. Documents will be sent directly to your insurance claims adjuster to preserve data accuracy and vendor confidentiality

We will not send internal vendor receipts directly to clients or third parties without this protocol being met.

5. Why We Use a Package-Based Model

Life’s Abri’s curates bespoke travel experiences by bundling flights, lodging, transfers, and activities. This approach:

  • Protects vendor relationships and negotiated rates

  • Allows us to streamline your itinerary

  • Includes support, documentation, and risk management

  • Reflects service value, not just raw cost

As a result, individual line-item pricing (e.g. “hotel = $317.50”) is not separated out unless publicly booked by the client themselves.

6. Final Note

We are committed to transparency and professionalism while also protecting the structure that makes our model work. Your receipts will always reflect your full trip investment with Life’s Abri’s, and you can reach out with clarifying questions at any time.
